What is GRE exam?

The Graduate Record Exam (GRE) is a computer-based, multiple-choice, standardised test that serves as a crucial admission requirement for graduate and business schools worldwide. It is conducted by ETS, and is a popular choice among candidates who wish to pursue MS studies or MBA studies abroad. The ETS GRE exam is held several times throughout the year, and candidates can either take it at a designated GRE test centre or from the comfort of their homes through the ‘GRE at Home’ option, provided they meet the required system specifications and have a suitable test environment.

The GRE exam, also known as the Graduate Record Examination, now allows eligible candidates to use their Aadhar Cards as part of their student ID during the GRE registration process, effective July 1, 2021. This article discusses available test centre dates for taking the GRE exam, as well as important topics related to the GRE exam, such as the GRE syllabus, GRE exam fees, GRE exam eligibility, and GRE score validity, among others.
